iPod Repair Stories:

One day I found myself having an issue with my trusty iPod device. I usually listened to my iPod as I was working out because it was the best motivation to keep my going on that elliptical day after day. Well, what I began to notice was that the scroll wheel seemed to be sticking and was not doing anything to help me search through my playlists. I had heard of some of my friends having the same problem, but several of them had just chosen to buy new iPod, even though theirs were only a few years old. The reason for this is that they had taken their iPods into Apple stores and were told that new parts would be the same price as a new iPod, so they might as well just purchase a new one. To me, this seemed fishy because it seemed like just the right thing to say to convince you to spend the extra dough on just buying more Apple products. I decided to type my iPod symptoms into Google and was surprised to find a vast amount of iPod repair websites! I knew that there had to be a better way than spend several hundred dollars on an iPod every few years when there was still so much memory left on the hard drive. The site that I looked at seemed to specialize in defective scroll wheels, as they had skilled technicians that had extensive training in iPod repair. This was much better than having my little brother offer to 'look' at it for me. I shipped my iPod right off to them for iPod repair, and they actually completed the repair very quickly and had the iPod back to me in almost no time! It turns out that replacing the scroll wheel is a very common iPod problem, so all it needed was some minimal attention.
