Seriously, I told him he would have to pay for it if he did anything to it. So then he takes it out and loses it when he was messing around with it, and he claims that it's not his fault at all. I told him that he absolutely had to look online to find repair, and he was very helpful in checking out this company that replaced the sim card tray for a very affordable price, which was great. iPhone 3G Repair Stories

When I got my new car last year, I was excited to see that it had a jack available for me to plug my iPhone right into my car stereo! I listen to my iPhone all the time and this was a great way for me to be able to use my iPhone in the car without having to buy any extra equipment. Whenever I drive around town, I just plug in my iPhone and all my favorite songs are at my fingertips. A couple of weeks ago, I was leaving my apartment in a rush. I had grabbed a cup of coffee, my iPhone, and my keys and raced out to my car. I put the coffee and the iPhone on top of the car so I could open the car door. I jumped into the car and backed out of my parking space. As I pulled forward, I heard a ‘thunk’ from the top of the car. I felt sick. That’s when I remembered the coffee and the iPhone! They’d both gone tumbling off the car. I stopped the car, jumped out and jogged over to pick them up. Luckily, the coffee mug was pretty indestructible. The iPhone was not protected at all. I tried to turn it on, but the screen was just a scrambled mess. I was still upset when I got to my class a few minutes later. I sat down next to a friend of mine and told him what had happened. He was sympathetic and told me a story of how he’d broken his iPhone. I guess everyone’s got a story like that to tell. Then he went on to tell me about how he’d gotten his iPhone fixed. I’d never heard anyone say that before! He told me about an iPhone repair website he’d found and he tried it. It ended up being much cheaper than replacing his iPhone and his still works great. He pulled it out of his pocket and showed it to me. I wrote down the name of the iPhone repair website he told me about and when I got back to my apartment later, I checked it out. It looked legit and I had the recommendation of my friend, so I thought I’d try it out. I am so glad I did! I got my iPhone back last week, after only having it be gone a couple of weeks, and it works great! iPhone repair is definitely something I’m going to tell my friends about. And I’m never going to put anything on the top of my car again!
