I have had my iPod for enough time to use it and use it until it became scratched and worn. I kept complaining about it to friends of mine because it really looked a lot older than how long I'd had it, and a coworker of mine told me that I could just get the faceplate replaced so that it wouldn't look as scratched as it did right now. I think the reason behind the damage to the faceplate of my iPod is the fact that I always left it floating around in my purse so it scratched against whatever stuff I had in there. That is pretty careless on my part, but I do love to listen to my iPod on the train on the way to work so that I can relax. As if having a daily commute wasn't bad enough, I just want to be able to sit back and pretend like I was somewhere else. So I checked out this site to my friend recommended to me, and it seems like the faceplate replacement was pretty cheap. It was definitely much cheaper than getting a whole new iPod! I had heard horror stories from other friends about how they had tried to get their parts replaced by Apple, only to be quoted outrageous prices. I figured that if I was looking for Original iPod parts, like a faceplate, then it was my best bet to ship my iPod into this company so that they could repair it for me. I had also heard other horror stories about people trying to replace faceplates themselves by checking out videos that instructed them on YouTube, only to completely damage the body of their device. I figured that it would be worth my money to just bite the bullet and ship my Original iPod into this company, with the hopes that they could have it returned back to me pretty quickly. I was actually more than happy with how this repair went because it felt like my Original iPod was hardly gone at all! I had a few lonely days on the commute on the way to work just reading a book in silence, but I'm sure that was good for me. I got my iPod right back from the repair company, and I am loving the brand-new look and am taking much better care of it this time around.
