Digitizer / LCD for<br>Apple First Gen iPhone (2G)<!--BASE:1P1DLCD=149.00-->

The LCD Screen and the Glass/Digitizer Assembly have to be replaced together in the 1st Generation iPhone 2G only.

Glass/Digitizer: This needs to be replaced if the glass is cracked, or if the touch function no longer works on the screen.
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display): This is the screen that you see when you turn your device on. When in need of repair, it can display all white, all black, dead pixels, or discolorations from bleeding liquid.

Replacing the LCD in this iPhone takes expertise, and we have the talent in house to quickly remove your old, damaged LCD and replace it with a brand new one. The new LCD that we install is tested out and returned back to you, usually on the next business day. So if you have an iPhone that works great, but the display is damaged in some way, add this item to your cart and let us do the rest.

We offer a variety of same-day shipping options from us to you, perfect for any level of urgency.

If you suspect your device has water or liquid damage, we suggest setting up an order for our repair evaluation for liquid-exposed devices as it is possible that this part alone will not solve the problems that you are having.

First Generation iPhone Repair Stories

It can be frustrating when you have to take care of the grounds at a golf club. It seems that you are always on maintenance detail. The interesting part about it is that it is only a pain when other people are around. I like my job most of the time and golf is a pretty challenging game. I don't play the game myself because I really don't' have time to do it.There are some very serious golfers who don't want to do anything, but play through, but for the most part people are negotiating deals and contracts. I am the head crew chief and my job is to make sure that everyone is doing what they are supposed to do in terms of maintenance. There are some pretty funny stories I could tell you about what happens day to day. Like a few months ago. There was this hotshot who came to the course spouting off about how great a golfer he was and how he was going to make pro one day. He was playing with a couple guys who were also rather strange. One of the guys had an iPhone and was wearing sun glasses trying to be cool; I just shook my head and smiled. As they were playing through one of the guys got really mad at the other one and was yelling on the course. He was mad because the guy was talking on his iPhone and not really paying attention to the game. The first guy grabs his iPhone and throws it as far as he can; it lands in the sand trap. What a mess. They owner of the iPhone was yelling about how careless he was and it went on and on a few minutes. I helped him fish his iPhone out of the sand and he didn't even thank me when he was finished. I gave one of the other guys the website for an iPhone repair company that I carry with me for my own iPhone. I told him they were a good repair service in case his friend needed it. Today the guy came back and thanked me. He used the website, sent his iPhone to this iPhone repair service and he is back in business with it now. He was surprised at how fast his iPhone repair happened. This time the guy was more courteous and even gave me a tip.
