Professional Repair Evaluation for Apple's 1st Gen iPod touch
When your 1st Generation iPod touch has an obvious problem (e.g. a broken screen) or something more unclear (e.g. just does not turn on), let our experts have a look at it. We apply the repair evaluation fee towards any repairs that you authorize, and we don’t repair anything without your authorization. With your permission, we can simply charge the same credit card used at checkout for the additional repairs.

You will receive a notification when we receive your device, have had a chance to evaluate it, and once again after it has been repaired, tested, and ready to ship (yes, we tend to over-communicate!).

We use brand new and/or tested parts and guarantee the parts and workmanship for one full year. Our batteries are guaranteed for ten years.

The shipping method selected during checkout will be for that final leg of shipping from us back to you. You can make your own shipping arrangements or opt to have us email you a shipping label so you can get your device to us.

Click here to learn more about how the whole Repair Evaluation process works – it’s easy and fast!

The order confirmation that we email you after the order has been placed will have our shipping address, but you can also find information on how to package up your device and where to ship it here.

Note: If the evaluation of your device reveals the need for a new logic board, we will unfortunately have to return your device back un-repaired, as parts that meet our quality standards have recently become extremely difficult to source. We apologize in advance for this possibility. We are optimistic that any other repair (should you approve it) will be simple and affordable, and we will do everything in our power to ensure that this happens.

We offer a variety of same-day shipping options from us to you, perfect for any level of urgency.

Limited-time Offer: Enter FREESHIP in coupon code field at checkout for FREE USPS First Class Mail shipping (on orders greater than $10), or apply that discount towards another shipping method that you prefer!

To get the process started, add this item to your cart and proceed through checkout!

I'll be totally honest and tell you that I looked around at a bunch of different repair companies because I wanted a really low price. My iPod touch was messed up, but I felt like I paid enough for it in the first place so that I didn't want to waste my money on a ripoff company. Milliamp was anything but, and they were really cool with the whole process. What impressed me off of the batt was how detailed the repair process was because it asked a bunch of different qestions, so I felt even more comfortable shipping it into someone I didn't know. It was really fast, which was even more impressive to me because I wanted to make sure that I got my iPod back as quickly as possible.

1st Generation iPod touch Repair Stories

Being a waitress is a tough job, especially when you are doing it to pay your college tuition. I work nights at a small café near my college. It’s a nice place where a lot of senior citizens hang out in the evening. Even the staff there is quite old so it’s kind of like a club to the elderly. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the staff and the customers and everyone was real nice to me. It’s just that I didn’t have anything in common with them and when the other wait staff would sit around and talk during the slack times, I felt out of place. I couldn’t sit away by myself – that would have been rude. I did try taking my books along with me so I could get some reading done during my breaks; but the constant noise of people talking was too distracting. The money was good and the timings suited me, so I thought I would just have to put up with the boredom. Then last year my sister gave me an iPod for my birthday. I had often thought of getting one, but never got around to it – I liked music but it wasn’t a real passion of mine. Anyway, since I had an iPod now, I downloaded some of my music to it and started taking it to work to listen to during my breaks. Then it occurred to me, if I could shut out the world with my iPod, I would not be distracted when I was trying to read. It worked. I was able to use my time off to catch up on my college reading. But one day I was helping out with dish washing (I got paid extra for that) when the iPod fell out of my shirt pocket into the sink. I knew as soon as I fished it out that it would not work. I dried it off and did try, but with no luck. I was cursing my luck – I couldn’t afford to buy a new one when I remembered a friend telling about how he had found iPod touch repair companies online. I checked it out when I got back to my dorm room, and found a lot of these iPod repair companies. I chose one, followed their packing instructions and sent it off. I didn’t expect much, but then I had nothing to lose. I was real surprised to find that the iPod repair costs would be very reasonable – something a broke college boy could afford. And I got the iPod back, as good as new, in a surprisingly short time.
