iPod nano Repair Stories

Despite all the court room dramas you see on TV and the movies, the life of an attorney is, by and large, far from exciting. Except for a few criminal lawyers, the rest of us deal with tons of paperwork and volumes of legal precedents – not the most exciting way of spending ones time. No glamorous clients, no juries to convince and no newspaper headlines. Don’t get me wrong; I enjoy my work and the satisfaction of being able to help out a client in need, even if it is often done in the background, makes up for a lot of the drudgery. I’m also still fairly new in this line of work, so I don’t have a fancy office of my own. I share a big room with 5 other junior lawyers. They are all nice people but the fact is that 6 people sharing a room makes for a lot of noise that gets in the way of concentrating on legal issues. One day one of my colleagues had a brainwave. Why don’t we all get iPods she said? That way we can all not just shut out the noise from the rest of the office, but also listen to music while we work without disturbing the others. It sounded like a great idea and that evening we all went iPod shopping. Things were much more comfortable after we all had our iPods. That is until the day I was sitting with a couple getting a divorce and the wife got so angry at what I was saying on behalf of the husband, who was my client, that she lost it, grabbed the iPod from my desk and threw it across the room. That was the end of the meeting and, I thought the end of my iPod, which was now in pieces. That’s when my client told me about an iPod nano repair company he had used some months before. He told me to go on the internet and search for iPod repair companies, which I did before going home. I found the companies easily and sent the broken iPod to one, thinking that they would get back to me to say it was too damaged to repair. A very short time later, I not only got my iPod back as good as new, but I paid much less for the repair than I would have for a new one.
