iPhone Repair Stories

Being a New York City taxi driver can be a lot of fun – you get to meet all kinds of people, including a lot of famous ones. It can also be tough – you would be surprised at the number of weirdo’s that there are out on the streets at any time of the day or night. And the traffic can really get you down. Like most taxi drivers I used to keep the radio on all the time I was behind the wheel. But as the years passed I found that my taste in music depended on the traffic conditions I was driving in and the type of passenger I had. By and large the radio was fine but often the music I got, whatever station I tried, was stuff I didn’t want to hear at that time. That’s when I went in for an iPhone. I had seen the ads and the idea of being able to keep my music with me all the time in my cell phone sounded good. It really turned my life around. Every couple of days I would load it with music from my collection. I had my music with me all the time and since I could change what was on the iPhone whenever I wanted, it never got stale or boring. Then one day when I was taking a coffee break, I spilled coffee on it. It quit working. I tried drying if off, but it wouldn’t work. I fiddled around for a while but still with no luck. I don’t know much about electronics but I knew that these small devices can’t be repaired and I was telling my buddy the story and complaining about having to buy a new one when he told me that iPhones could be repaired. He said he had broken his iPod once and had tried his luck in finding iPod repair companies on the internet. He found a lot of them and was able to get his iPod repaired for a reasonable cost. That was good enough for me. I got online as soon as I reached home that night and selected one of the many iPod and iPhone repair companies I found. I packed up the iPhone and sent it off to them as instructed on the site and resigned myself to some weeks without my music or my cell phone.
