Note: If your silver iPad backplate is dented during the trauma that caused your outer glass digitizer screen to break, it may also need to be replaced if it prevents this new part from fitting properly. We will contact you immediately if this happens to be the case with your device and to discuss your options. The image to the right shows an iPad backplate with a dent that needed to be replaced before the digitizer/LCD could be repaired.
Note: On the off chance that, in addition to your broken screen, we find that your logic board is also damaged, we will unfortunately have to return your device back to you un-repaired and possibly without a screen (as it would not be feasible [or safe] to re-install the original, broken glass), since reliable, new logic boards for this model that meet our quality standards are not available.
