Note: Sometimes the backplate on this model also needs to be replaced if the trauma that damaged the screen also caused the edges of the silver back cover to bend inwards (since this could prevent the new screen from laying correctly). So please examine your device closely - you can easily request a new backplate (ours are spanking brand new, completely blank with no printing or engraving, and a perfect fit) along with your new digitizer or LCD on this page. The image to the right shows an iPad backplate with a dent that needed to be replaced before the digitizer/LCD could be installed.

My ipad screen broke and I found milliamp. They were very fast and explained all my repair choices. My iPad looks brand new - no dents or marring of the case or rubber edges which is what i was thinking might happen. I hope I don't break my iPad again but if it does fall again I will not hesitate to use these guys again..

wow i am amaze at your guys again my ipad was badly cracked and dented. Look horrible at first ,but milliamp fixed my device and up,

I purchased my IPad on the Saturday of its release and, was super excited to show it off to all of my friends. The IPad was the first apple product I have ever bought so I was excited to experiment with the OS and see all the different things I could do with it. After the first day of playing with it I fell in love. You can watch movies, edit photos, read books and play games with only the touch of your finger tip. The following Wednesday I was sitting in the university library with my IPad browsing all the different apps I could download when I found the game Command and Conquer Red Alert that I had not played since I was a child, I promptly downloaded it and became immersed in the game. Red Alert ran so smoothly that I quickly lost track of the time and before I knew it two and a half hours passed and I was at the final battle on the final level when out of no where my base was over taken and I lost. Shocked and angry I let this happen I went to slam my fists on the table and not paying attention I hit the side of my IPad cracking the glass. Apples warranty does not cover accidental damages so I thought I would have to live with a cracked IPad when my friend told me about a place called Milliamp that's fixes apple products. I called Milliamp the next day and talked to a very nice lady that was very helpful and they were able to take my IPad in for repair right away.
