So please examine your device closely - you can easily request a new backplate (ours are spanking brand new, completely blank with no printing or engraving, and a perfect fit) along with your new digitizer or LCD on this page. The image to the right shows an iPad backplate with a dent that needed to be replaced before the digitizer/LCD could be installed.
