I had always felt like the sound was distorted and messed up on my iPod touch, but I thought that it was maybe me. I have some free time at work the other day, and I was just cruising around websites online. I came upon Milliamp, and they were talking about how the sound can get distorted under iPod touch if you have a damaged headphone jack. Bingo! I knew that something was wrong with my touch, but this was the proof I needed. I sent in my iPod touch right away so that the headphone Jack could get replaced, and I can't even tell you what a world of difference that it mayde. It sounds absolutely brand-new! Thanks so much.

1st Generation iPod touch Repair Stories

I left my house jogging as I do every day, with my dog, Charlie. As we reached the park near our house, we witnessed a car accident. It was a little frightening, but I had to help those people in the badly hit car. They were hit from behind at a light, by an elderly man. The little girl who sat in front was the one that suffered the most. She was bleeding over her eye, but her siblings and mother were, okay. The mother was having a hard time trying to calm all three kids down, being that one was very young less, than two. I helped by keeping the one in the front as composed as possible. The family wasn’t too badly hurt, but it was the initial shock that made them upset. The elderly man was very sorry and realized he didn’t react in time to prevent the accident. He was shaken too, but mainly concerned about the crying children. The ambulance finally arrived to aid the family and the accident soon cleared. I was able to get the family’s number to check on them a little later on in the day, to see if they were still okay. I was happy that I was able to help them, which made me feel better, after witnessing such an accident. I decided to go home instead of completing my workout. After I let Charlie in, I reached in my pocket to put away my iPod, only to see that it was in frozen state. It had been in a freeze the entire time I was helping them. I wasn’t able to shut it down or get it to the main screen. I didn’t know what to do with it. I called my husband at work to tell him what happened to me on my morning jog. He wanted to know how I was feeling and how were the kids. Some of his co workers overheard his conversation to me and they wanted to ask the same questions. He assured them all involved were fine, but the only problem was my iPod froze up on me, when I shut it down improperly. His co worker Stan informed him to tell me to find a iPod repair shop online and they should help me. My husband called me back to give me the information from Stan, so I did what he said. I called an iPod repair store and they told me to send it over to them. And a couple of days later, I got it back from the iPod repair store and was excited to see that it was in great shape, and worked as good as new. I was indeed glad that everything worked out fine, and that too so cheap!
