Professional Repair Evaluation for Apple 4th Gen iPod<!--BASE:4GREV=19.00-->

When your 4th Generation iPod has an obvious problem (e.g. a broken screen) or something more unclear (e.g. just does not turn on), let our experts have a look at it. We apply the repair evaluation fee towards any repairs that you authorize, and we don't repair anything without your authorization. With your permission, we can simply charge the same credit card used at checkout for the additional repairs.

You will receive a notification when we receive your device, have had a chance to evaluate it, and once again after it has been repaired, tested, and ready to ship (yes, we tend to over-communicate!).

We use brand new and/or tested parts and guarantee the parts and workmanship for one full year. Our batteries are guaranteed for ten years.

The shipping method selected during checkout will be for that final leg of shipping from us back to you. You can make your own shipping arrangements or opt to have us email you a shipping label so you can get your device to us.

The order confirmation that we email you after the order has been placed will have our shipping address, but you can also find information on how to package up your device and where to ship it here.

Note: If the evaluation of your device reveals the need for a part that we can no longer obtain, we will have to send your device back un-repaired. More detail on this can be found in our Terms of Service.

Note: If you are interested in the possibility of a data backup, be sure to indicate that in the Order Comments field during checkout and we will let you know if that is possible after your device arrives.

Fourth Generation iPod Repair Stories

Being in command of a huge container ship is a great job and a demanding one. Great because I have always loved the sea and commanding one of the newest and largest ships to sail the seas has always been my dream. Demanding, because while I had a great crew to support me, the responsibility for the lives of the crew and the safety of the ship and its cargo was, in the final analysis, mine alone. I actually enjoyed the responsibility and it rarely, if ever, got me down. But what did often get to me on the long voyages was the loneliness. Even after all these years at sea I still missed my family. And being the captain, I had to always keep a certain distance between myself and the crew so that when needed, I was in a position to use my authority without being questioned. At sea there are times when you have to make quick decisions and a captain who lets his authority be questioned is a weak skipper. What I had to help me with my loneliness was my iPod. I have a huge collection of music on the computer in my cabin and whenever I had the chance I like nothing better than to take it with me as I got my daily exercise by walking around the huge deck for an hour each day. One day I was walking in slightly rough weather when a sudden strong wave shook the ship and I was thrown against a container. I wasn't hurt, but the same could not be said about the iPod in my pocket which was broken in two. I knew I could easily replace it but it had been a present from my wife and had a sentimental value. One of the crew who was passing by saw me looking at the broken iPod and asked me if I wanted to get it fixed. I was surprised to learn that this was possible. The crewman told me what to do. As soon as we reached port and I got home I searched the internet for iPod repair companies and found a lot of them. I sent my iPod to one for repair and kept my fingers crossed. In a very short time and at a much lower price than buying a new one, it was sent back to me in perfect condition. The iPod repair company did an excellent job. I was able to begin my next voyage with my iPod in my pocket. And I thank my stars for having found that great iPod repair company.
