To be honest with you, I always thought that something was kind of wacky with the scroll wheel on my nano. It seemed a little bit sticky because I got my iPod used, but I didn't think anything of it. Finally, it was getting so bad that I was having a difficult time accessing all of my songs. It would remain frozen, so some of my songs would play on repeat over and over again. So annoying! That was when I finally decided it was time to check out your repair website, although I was worried that it would be too expensive for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the total repair cost was much less than I thought it would be, and significantly cheaper than buying a new one.

First Generation iPod nano Repair Stories

Every year, we wait for the state fair to come around in the fall. A group of my friends and I always go. We love the rides, the food and the tractor pulls! It’s a great time. This past year, we all got together and headed over to the fair on a Friday afternoon. We planned on spending the whole afternoon and evening there, leaving when the fair closed at midnight. Like always, I had my cell phone and my iPod in my front pocket. I always have those two things in one pocket and my wallet in the other. We had messed around some at the fair, looking at some of the exhibits and eating some of the fried foods they had come up with, and we decided it was time to go on some of the rides. The first ride we came to is one we always go on, every year, even though it’s not really very exciting. It’s one of those swings that you sit on that spin around and swing way out wide as the spin. I love that ride, even though it’s pretty tame. I just love that feeling. We got on the ride and strapped ourselves in. We started up and began to spin around. As we started to get a little higher, I felt something slip out of my pocket. Before I could reach down and grab it, my iPod had slid out of my pocket and sailed down to the pavement below. I saw where it landed, but I couldn’t get to it because I was stuck on the ride! When the ride ended, I jumped off as quickly as I could and ran over to where my iPod lay on the pavement. Luckily, nobody had picked it up! I scooped it up and anxiously turned it on. No luck. Disappointed, I put the iPod back in my pocket. I tried to turn it on again a couple of times during the night, but I had no luck. It was broken. Needless to say, after the night at the fair, I was broke. I spent every last dollar on rides, food and useless games and had a great time. But I knew I couldn’t replace my iPod. I told my parents about what happened, and while they were sympathetic, they didn’t offer to buy me another one like I hoped. My dad did tell me about an iPod repair company one of his friends had used and how inexpensive that was. I jumped right up and looked up the company online. I found that one and a couple of other iPod repair websites. I decided to take a chance on the iPod repair company my dad’s friend had used, and in a couple of weeks, I had my iPod back, good as new!
