Professional Repair Evaluation for Apple 1st Gen iPod nano<!--BASE:N1REV=19.00-->

When your 1st Generation iPod nano has an obvious problem (e.g. a broken screen) or something more unclear (e.g. just does not turn on), let our experts have a look at it. We apply the repair evaluation fee towards any repairs that you authorize, and we don't repair anything without your authorization. With your permission, we can simply charge the same credit card used at checkout for the additional repairs.

You will receive a notification when we receive your device, have had a chance to evaluate it, and once again after it has been repaired, tested, and ready to ship (yes, we tend to over-communicate!).

We use brand new and/or tested parts and guarantee the parts and workmanship for one full year. Our batteries are guaranteed for ten years.

The shipping method selected during checkout will be for that final leg of shipping from us back to you. You can make your own shipping arrangements or opt to have us email you a shipping label so you can get your device to us.

The order confirmation that we email you after the order has been placed will have our shipping address, but you can also find information on how to package up your device and where to ship it here.

Note: If the evaluation of your device reveals the need for a part that we can no longer obtain, we will have to send your device back un-repaired. More detail on this can be found in our Terms of Service.

Note: If you are interested in the possibility of a data backup, be sure to indicate that in the Order Comments field during checkout and we will let you know if that is possible after your device arrives.

If you suspect your device has water or liquid damage, we suggest setting up an order for our repair evaluation for liquid-exposed devices as it is possible that this part alone will not solve the problems that you are having.

I was having a really difficult time in getting to the bottom of my nano problems. I seriously had like so many people in my family look at it. I mean, if like the screen had been bussted it would have been whatever and so much easier to fix, but I\'m guessing it was something wrong inside of it. I looked all over online, and I even e-mailed some blogggers who wrote about the subject. There was no one who could answer my prolem, until I found your website. You all were very helpful, and I\'m glad that you could get inside my nano and figure out what was going on with it. This was so much cheaper than I thought it would be!

First Generation iPod nano Repair Stories

If any of you, think the life of a professional chef is one of quiet, relaxing cooking and the peaceful creation of new recipes, let me put you straight. I am a chef at a well known New York restaurant and while I love my work, it often drives me up the wall! There's nothing better than creating the perfect dish and nothing worse than when things go wrong, often through no fault of your own. Or when an overly finicky customer who just wants to show off makes impossible demands that you have to try and meet. And a restaurant kitchen is noisy. And hot. Spending 8 plus hours a day is a sure way to a headache. I know how much I suffered until I found my not so secret weapon in the war against the noise and pressure. My wife gave me an iPod for my last birthday. At first I was reluctant to use it because I thought it would look silly in the kitchen, and interfere with my assistants trying to talk to me. But when she insisted I try it out, I did and found that having the kind of music I liked always available to me eased the pressures of the kitchen and reduced the effects of the noise. And if I kept the volume low, I would hear the music but at the same time, be able to hear when anyone called out to me for anything. Then, one day it fell into a bowl of gravy! Naturally it didn't work after that. I was on the verge of throwing it away (and feeling lousy about it - it was a present from my wife after all) when a young trainee cook came to me and suggested I consider iPod repair. As soon as the restaurant closed for the night we went to a computer and searched the internet where he found me a ton of companies doing iPod repair. Since he knew more about it than it did I asked him to do what was required. As I watched I found it was so simple anyone can do it. All it involves is getting in touch with the website, telling them your problem and once they say that the iPod repair is possible, sending it to them. In a very short period of time I got my iPod back, looking and sounding as good as new. I still have the wonderful present my wife gave me.
