It must have been from years of wear and tear, but the faceplate on my nano looked all chipped up. I was also thinking that it would be fun to get a new color, so I looked online to see where I could buy a new faceplate. What I found within milliamp was even better because you all did that complete repair process with new parts for the nano. I appreciated the fact that you all were very professional in replacing the faceplate on my nano because I was worried that my device could possibly get damaged. This was a very affordable repair, and I thought that milliamps customer service was wonderful. The representative that I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpful.

First Generation iPod nano Repair Stories

I was riding home on a train, going back to school after the holidays, when my iPod began to act a little shaky. I didn’t think too much of it and went back to school and my routine, with no problems to think of. It was when I was studying one night that while reading, I could see that my iPod was involuntarily shutting down. I sat up and started to try to get it to work again. But it would only come up to the main screen for one or two minutes then give an error message and shut down again. The message said something about ‘kernel error’. I am no techie , so I wasn’t able to fix it on my own. I was slightly discouraged because when I study, I use my iPod. For some reason, I can retain more of what I read when I use it. That is the way I study every time any of my schoolwork is due. So not having it when I began working on my assignments actually makes it harder for me to accomplish anything. I know it isn’t good to do it that way, but it works for me and my grades are great. If it works for me, then no one else should care. But, overall I miss my iPod helping me to study. I miss the instrumentals of jazz and classical tunes, going in my head while I work away. I had to do something to see if I could get my iPod to work again. I asked around in one of my classes and this girl gave me the name of a guy and she told me to call him, he is great at fixing anything technical. I did what she said, I gave him a call and although he sounded somewhat distracted. He let me know that he wasn’t able to repair my iPod, but he gave me the web address of an iPod repair service. I immediately went to the site and was surprised to see that there were so many options, in pricing and shipping. I called them and they told me that usually that error is one that can be fixed and if I shipped it to them they would see if they could repair it. This iPod repair service was able to fix my beloved iPod. They sent it back to me looking almost new, I had to really make sure it was mine. Because, this iPod repair service sent it back working and looking almost new.
