iPhone 2G Repair Stories:

During the time that I have had my iPod, I haven’t really taken the best precautions in protecting the delicate screen. I didn’t really think too much of it until I noticed that from all of the scratches over time, you could barely see what song was playing through my battered screen! I decided to go to my local Apple store where I had gotten my iPod, and they told me that all they could do was to help me to find a new iPod to purchase. That was really more of an investment than I wanted to make, so I decided not to give up but to instead look online to see if there were any iPod repair companies or other services that could repair iPod screens. I really was unsure about mailing my iPod to an unknown company, but the iPod repair site that I went to had a number that I could call to get all of my questions answered. I felt like a protective parent, but the representative I spoke to was unendingly helpful in making sure that I understood what was being offered in the repair and replacement process. The following day after I had shipped my iPod, I received a call from the company to tell me that they had gotten my iPod and would call me with the results of the assessment that was customary for every iPod repair. Since I had already shipped in my iPod, I decided that I wanted a new chrome back plate as well, just to get all of my components taken care of. At the end of the day, I was called back by the company and quoted a seemingly low price for a screen and back plate replacement. They shipped my iPod right back to me, and it was looking better than I ever remembered it to be! It even came with a new pink cover as a cherry on top to the amazing service I was given.
