iPod Video Repair Stories
I have to admit that I have been rough on my iPod. I let it move around in my back pack everyday at school without a case or anything. And why do I do that? Well, I guess I just let it get out of hand until it was too late because by the time I really noticed what was happening, the face plate to my iPod was already all worn and scratched up. So I took the problem to my dear old dad and presented him with my chipped and scratched iPod, asking if he could find it in his heart to buy me another one. He was not having it and told me to live with it. Typical. Well, as usual, I did have a little brainstorm of a way to get what I wanted. I had seen ads up for iPod repair online, so I asked my dad if he would check that out with me to see if it was cheap enough for me to maybe get a new face plate from a site that did iPod repair. He grudgingly agreed, and we looked online to see what the top sites were in iPod repair. I really wanted to find a good one so my dad wouldn't be mad at me for wasting money on something that didn't work- again. My dad was really happy to see that one of the top ranking sites had a repair option where you could ship your iPod to them so that they could assess it for you at a small price. When we sent it in, they emailed us right away to let us know that they could replace the face plate and have it right back to us. My dad thought that was a great idea, and we both won because I got the shiny and new look for my iPod I wanted, and he saved money.
