Fourth Generation iPod Repair Stories

Today, I wanted to use my iPod while I was waiting for my grandmother at her doctor’s appointment. In the summer, my mom has me to drive her around because she usually has some other things to do. Well, it can be boring waiting on grandma at the doctor’s office and the other places she has me take her to. In order to cure my boredom while waiting, I listen to music on my iPod. She will wave at me if she has something she really needs me to hear. But out of respect, I try not to use it at first when we get into the car. I notice she may have a few things to say at that point, but later in the ride when she starts to hum, I know it’s okay to listen to my music. She was in and out of her appointment quick. She actually did all of her chores really quick today, but not in enough time for my battery to run out on my iPod. I thought this was very unusual, so I asked her if it was okay to stop by an electronics store to pick up a battery? She said she didn’t mind, so we did just that. I picked up my battery, dropped off grandma at home and went home myself. I almost had the battery replaced on my own when just as I was about to turn it over, it popped out. But this time, it had some wire come out with it. Oops! I called my mom at her part time job and she told me I could get it fixed, but let her know how much it costs first. I heard at school about how some people used the iPod repair companies to get their iPods fixed. So, I went online and found a company who told me to send in the iPod and they’ll have it repaired for me. The cost seemed reasonable as well. I checked with my mum, and she gave me the go ahead to send it to the iPod repair company. I did, and was resigned to the fact that it would be sometime before I got it. However, I was in for a pleasant surprise as the iPod came back rather quick from the iPod repair service company. And they did a great job on it. It was as good as new. I was so happy to have found this iPod repair company and for sure have saved all the details in my address book, just in case!
