the end cap on my mini became loose, and then it fell off completely. It was on my list of things to do to have it fixed somehow, but I didn't know if it was replaceable or not. It didn't seem like too much of a big deal, but it made it inconvenient because I was worried about other parts of my iPod getting damage. Finally someone that worked for me that I should look around online, and your company was at the top of the list. I did spend some time researching other companies, but you all were very fair in your prices, not to mention the fact that it was fast and easy to do. Thank you thank you thank you :)

iPod mini Repair Stories

My nine-year-old daughter decided a couple of weeks ago that she was going to take a shower with her iPod on. But the way she had it figured was that if she took the iPod and put it in a Ziploc baggie, the iPod wouldn’t get wet! Convinced that her idea was brilliant, she went ahead and did it without consulting anyone else. I think she was doing OK with it, actually, until she realized that she would have to take her headphones off to wash her hair. When she did this, she hung iPod by the headphones over the shower curtain rod. The part of the story that gets fuzzy is what happened when she opened the shower curtain. But the end result is that the iPod fell off the shower rod and hit the tile floor. When she got out and dried off, my daughter picked up the iPod, took it out of the protective plastic baggie, and tried to turn it back on. It turned on, but she could only get it to play one song, over and over. Unhappy, she came downstairs and told me the whole story. I checked out the iPod and it didn’t look like it had gotten wet through this whole fiasco, just bumped around when it fell to the floor. I was torn between wanting my daughter to feel better about all this and telling her that she needed to learn a lesson about how to treat her possessions with more care! Seeing as how she’d thought about how to protect the iPod from the water, I tried not to come down too hard on her. But I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to replace the iPod but what other options did I have? I told my teenage son about the problem when he got home later and he handed me the simple solution. “IPod repair, Dad.” I had never heard of it! My son showed me a couple of iPod repair websites that he’d heard of from his friends. Many of them had used these companies for their iPod repairs and were happy with the results. I was impressed with how economical the service was and how quickly they said we’d have the iPod back! I received my daughter’s iPod back from the iPod repair company just a few weeks after I’d sent it off. The iPod was in perfect working order. I was thrilled. And then I spent some time with my daughter, talking through some things you shouldn’t do with an iPod!
