As I was reflecting upon the past decade, it made me think of some of the fashions that I would absolutely love to say goodbye to. Okay, I didn’t get the idea all by myself because I was looking up fashions of the past decade on my iPhone, and I was pretty shocked at what I saw. I would like to say that I am proud that I never owned a pair of crocs, and I think that they should be out with the last decade.

For any lovers of crocs out there, it is nothing personal, but they are ridiculous looking shoes. First of all, they are not sandals, but they are completely full of holes. I guess this gives you the opportunity to keep your feet aired out in the workplace, but they more so look like novelty clogs that have gone wrong. These are shoes worn by many professionals who need comfortable footwear, like nurses and servers who are on their feet all day. In my opinion, that is A-OK compared to wearing orthopedic shoes as a nurse, but why take them into your everyday life? I encourage you to also look at fashions from the last decade on your iPhone to see what you would like to say goodbye to!

Sixth Gen IPOD NANO Repairs Available

Interestingly, the battery inside Apple’s Six Generation IPOD NANO does not have a wired connector that attaches to the motherboard, nor is it soldered in like all the nanos before it – actually, it has absolutely no battery to speak of! Yep, this device is solar-powered.

We found that the display on the new IPOD NANO lacked a great deal of visual acuity, more so than the previous NANO models, including the monochrome first generation nano screen. But if this is the trade-off for a greener, more eco-friendly IPOD, then we can accept that.

The small form factor of the new device is simply amazing – it has the exact same weight as U.S. nickel – and it is so thin that you can literally see through it in some areas. We believe that these small holes actually help keep the unit’s core temperature cool, but we have yet to officially confirm this in our tests (more details on this to follow in another blog post).

While the device lacks the touch-screen functionality that is seen in the ubiquitous IPHONE and IPOD TOUCH, the new IPOD NANO has more than 20 headphone jack ports all over the face of the device where you can plug in your earbuds, making this the most unexpected added convenience we have seen in an IPOD NANO to date.
