The owners of this new establishment have been working very hard to get the place (which is actually the 2nd Mr. Cod’s in San Antonio) ready for business over the past several weeks. And us milliamperes have been waiting with anticipation for it to open. Well, last week it did!!
Side-Note: There used to be a Charlie’s restaurant there, but we rarely frequented it; we took to the saying “Well, there’s always Charlie’s…” whenever we got too wrapped up doing iPhone repairs, realized that it was 2pm, and we still had not eaten lunch yet, and really did not want to head out too far from the office…
I had the chance to eat at Mr. Cod last week, and the fish was steaming hot and fresh – in a word, delicious. You can tell that the owners really care and want you to have an enjoyable experience. I will be going there again this week for sure, to get some more Mr. Cod flaky fish goodness. So check them out the next time you are on De Zavala Road near the US Post Office – the food is really good and includes quick, friendly service, too!
