Stop the Cell Tower – Sugar Land New Territory

Stop the Cell Tower

Stop the Cell Tower

There is an interesting effort underway going on in Sugar Land, Texas, specifically, in New Territory, a lush community in Southwest Houston. Seems there is going to be a big cell phone tower (complete with all the noisy machinery needed to install and maintain the structure) going up in New Territory, presumably the improve the wireless coverage in the area.

The big point of contention from the residents in New Territory, aside from the honking huge tower to be placed in their backyards, is the fact that the residents themselves were not told about the plans to install the cell phone tower in the first place.

This is obviously a dynamic, ever-developing story, so to keep up with the news, head to StopTheCellTower.com for all the details.

How in the world could the HOA of New Territories attempt to sneek this highly visible eyesore into this upscale community! The Telfair area where new homes are being built nearby the proposed location will be mighty ticked off after discovering a four foot diameter celltower extending onehundred fifty foot. Townspeople…….. UNITE and STOP this eyesore before the first shovelfull of earth is removed for the foundation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every one of the residences should be at the next board meeting. How about the news media present also???
Let’s stop this NOW Get on the bandwagon!

So, If you kill this tower, are you going to quit complaining when your cell phones are dropping calls left and right?

Congratulations on defeating the tower construction! We will be taking on our own battle, beginning Wednesday. The proposed tower will be about 200 feet from our home and from our 18 month old daughter. Any tips you have on winning the fight would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

Anne, see these 2 sites if you haven’t already…http://anticelltowerlawyers.com/index.html, google Burbank Against Cell Towers. Lots of great information. 200 feet from your home….that is just disgusting to hear. Best of luck to you!
