Are You Sleeping Well?

I find it absolutely frustrating when I have worked long day, only to hit the hay and am unable to get to sleep. Of course, one of my favorite things is listening to ambient music on my iPhone because it is surprisingly relaxing, and it will also drown out excess white noise.

I also looked online for a few more helpful tips when it comes to sleeping better. First of all, it’s a bad idea to eat too close to bed because it’s difficult for your body to digest when you are laying down. To sleep your best, your body should be fully digested by the time that you’re ready to go to bed. As a nice benefit to that, if you get more regular sleep, you will crave healthier food! Your body will often look for foods high in sugar and carbs to give you energy if you are completely exhausted, but you will be more apt to eat healthier if you are sleeping well.

Last of all, try to make yourself go to bed! Most people that have a difficult time sleeping spend the hours before bed doing work, watching TV, or surfing the Internet. No wonder you aren’t tired!
