Looking Forwards, Looking Back

by Anthony Magnabosco on January 5, 2010

Having finished a great strategy session for milliamp.com in 2010, I found myself thinking about how far this company has come in the five years we have been fixing iPods and iPhones and offering do-it-yourself iPod battery kits. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with some great people (and others who have challenged the sh!t out of me!), but the goal from the very very very beginning has been to provide exceptional customer service to those who have encountered unexpected issues with their Apple iPod or iPhone.

At the same time, one of my personal goals this new year is to convert all the aging DV tapes we have of the kids to digital media – something I have wanted to do for years, but as anyone that has kids knows, lots of things get put off for more pressing matters. On one of the videos, I came across a fleeting glance of the area of our house where I started this business oh so long ago:

While I cannot say that I never thought we would grow as big as we have (currently hovering around the 20 employee mark), I am constantly amazed at our growth, and the hard-working people that make up our fine company. For those that are not in the repair business, you have to work very hard to gain people’s trust, and work even harder to provide them with excellent products and services. And if you fall short in either of these two areas, your customers will let you (and others) know about it faster than you can say ‘complaint department’.

Well, we have come a long way from that card table, and if you haven’t see this already, here is a great video that shows our operation as a device moves through our repair facility as it looks now:

Hope you enjoyed the videos, and thanks for helping me reminisce!
