I have the black and red iPod, so I got this battery kit to do it myself. I just wanted to save a little bit of money, and I looked over the video that you all had up, and it made sense. I figure that if worse came to worse, I could just send it back to your company to see if you all could help me. Luckily, this kit was everything that I was looking for because I was able to pop out my old battery and pop in a new one in seconds. U2 iPod Battery Stories

My job requires me to read manuscripts all day. It's a great job and once in a while I come across something that I know is a masterpiece, and is destined to be a best seller. But mostly, what I spend my time reading is either mediocre or just plain bad. Sometimes the manuscripts can be repaired and improved upon and I get a great deal of pleasure in helping authors to make their writing better. But let's face it - sitting behind a desk all day reading one manuscript after another can, at times, become monotonous and mind numbing. That's bad for two reasons. Firstly, it takes the fun out of a job I love doing and secondly, if my mind gets switched off; I may miss out on something really great when I do come across it. One day I was reading an article about how music helps in concentration and I was so impressed by what I read that I went and bought myself and iPod. That was one of the best investments I ever made. Being able to work with my kind of music playing just for me, added a great deal to my powers of concentration, but also increased my enjoyment of my work even more. Then one day, I came across a short story that was so good I got excited and, in my excitement, knocked over a mug of hot coffee. Bad enough, but what was worse was that it spilled right on top of my iPod.I dried it off as best I could, but it would not play. I hated the thought of having to replace it - what a price to pay for my clumsiness. Then a co worker, who saw what had happened, told me about iPod repair companies and suggested I search the internet for them. I found lots and called up a few - many had 800 numbers. I found them to be very helpful. I decided on one and sent my iPod off. I was surprised at how quickly the iPod repair was done and my iPod returned to me. It looked like new and worked perfectly. That happened over a year ago and it is still working without a problem. A friend of mine dropped his iPod a few months ago and damaged it. I told him about iPod repair companies and he too got his iPod repaired and is as happy as I am with the results.
