Making donuts has been something that I do because my family started out as donut makers. I like making them because we are a small shop, and we don't have to worry about competition. Our donuts are made fresh everyday and to make sure we do it well, we start at two in the morning. There are no other people around at two in the morning so having some type of entertainment is very beneficial. This is why I purchased an iPod last year. I have been having the greatest time making donuts at night and listening to tunes.Did I mention that I make donuts from scratch? Well, I do. We have to make a batch of dough, let it rise and then create the donuts from that batch that we want. It can be a complicated situation, and it is very messy. In fact, there is usually flour all over everything no matter how you try to clean up after yourself. I like listening to music during the wee hours of the morning because it is the only time that I really can relax. The music helps me get into a rhythm with the donut making and it seems to go faster. I make about 400 donuts in each morning. We only sell a half day, from four in the morning to two in the afternoon. On some days we sell everything and if we don't sell them, we send the rest to the nursing homes in our area. As I was working one evening as usual I realized that there was an ingredient I needed to get from the cooler. I opened the cooler and got the ingredient but somehow my iPod got stuck to the inside of the cooler before I knew it. The door slammed on the iPod and locked it inside; I knew right then it was headed for an iPod repair. I quickly opened the cooler and sure enough my iPod was broken. I couldn't believe I had been so careless! I had been in and out of that cooler many times before without that happening. When I finally got home later that morning I went to the Internet to find an iPod repair company. I sent it off and received it back very quickly. I didn't really think that my iPod repair would be possible the way it looked in the breakage. But, they were able to fix it easily.
