When your U2 iPod has an obvious problem (e.g. a broken screen) or something more unclear (e.g. just does not turn on), let our experts have a look at it. We apply the repair evaluation fee towards any repairs that you authorize, and we don't repair anything without your authorization. With your permission, we can simply charge the same credit card used at checkout for the additional repairs.

You will receive a notification when we receive your device, have had a chance to evaluate it, and once again after it has been repaired, tested, and ready to ship (yes, we tend to over-communicate!).

We use brand new and/or tested parts and guarantee the parts and workmanship for one full year. Our batteries are guaranteed for ten years.

The shipping method selected during checkout will be for that final leg of shipping from us back to you. You can make your own shipping arrangements or opt to have us email you a shipping label so you can get your device to us.

Note: If the evaluation of your device reveals the need for a part that we can no longer obtain, we will have to send your device back un-repaired. More detail on this can be found in our Terms of Service.

a friend of mine had sent in their iPod to another company and got screwed. I was really cautious and really nervous to send in my iPod, but I needed to know what was wrong with it. I checked with you guys l8tr about how much it will cost and it was no big deal. Thx for being flexible with all of the prices and giving me a good deal, & it turned out that what was wrong with my iPod was not that bad, and it just needed something with the headphones tweaked. This made the sound much more clear, and it let me listen to music all I want, and it stayed within how much money that I wanted to spend to get it repaired.

U2 iPod Repair Stories

I am a short order cook for a small local restaurant and I love my job. I like it most when it is busy because I have to practice my skill at timing. You see as a cook you have to know the basic timing of each food item so if you have a large order you know in what order to cook everything so they are done on time. Every now and then I have a bad day and Wednesday was one of them. We were very busy and I was wearing my iPod like I usually do. My iPod is a rare U2 edition that my kids bought me so it's really special. I enjoy it and I usually take good care with it. Wednesday was an exception to everything. I was working around the fryer, and putting in French fries. I let the grease get really hot and started putting in the fries as I always do. Usually I will swing my iPod to the back of my neck so that I don't get it in the grease but for some reason I didn't do that as I was loading the fryer this day; it was because of this that I needed to find an iPod repair company. As I turned to get another few fries my iPod got caught on the basket and it disconnected and fell into the grease! I was faced with trying to get the food out on time and getting my iPod out of the grease. It was a mess. Luckily it fell into the basket and not in the main pan or it would have been harder to get it out.I lifted the basket and pulled out the iPod and miraculously it had not melted, as I thought it would. I wiped off the grease as best I could but I knew I had to send it to an iPod repair company. No matter what I did I couldn't get it to play. It wouldn't even turn on; instead it just kept dripping. I went home and got onto the computer to see if I could find an iPod repair company. I did find one and they said they probably could degrease my iPod. I sent it off and was amazed at the great customer service. It took a shorter time than I thought to get it back to me and my iPod was just like new.
