When your 5th Generation iPod Video does not produce sound from the headphone jack assembly AND the bottom dock connector/charging port when you dock the device in speakers, this is the perfect repair for you. Note: Due to the complexity of this particular repair, there are times that the device will have to be restored/wiped of all data in order for it to work with this new part.
